Guy Wilson

He began his artistic career as an illustrator in the United States Navy. During his four-year tenure aboard the U.S.S. Constellation, he traveled and painted extensively throughout Southeast Asia. Guy received his M.F.A. in Sculpture and Installation from the Claremont Graduate School and a B.F.A. in Drawing and Painting from California State University Long Beach. He continued to develop his career as an artist with numerous large-scale Public Art commissions and gallery exhibitions in California, Florida, and St Louis, MO. He continues to develop his personal style in the studio while working as a freelance sculptor in the Motion Picture Industry.

Guy A. Wilson was born in Burbank, California. His family migrated there from Lewistown, MO. His father returned to Missouri living in Farmington for his retirement until his passing. He still enjoys maintaining his roots with family in Springfield and Kansas City.
