Natural Balance is intended to be installed where a combination of the natural and build environments mesh together. The balance is the interaction between the built environment and the natural. Bringing together a sculptural piece that questions these relationships sparks imagination and thought how one perceives their environment. Materials are made from durable natural resources. The wood in the sculpture is long lasting and durable without warping or decay (Accoya) and the corten steel box represents how natural materials change in different environments through the patina process.
