The peace pole movement is an international movement to promote peace within communities while promoting a global effort to increase peace in every nation. Peace poles stand across the entire globe, but no matter the language the hopeful message always remains the same, “May Peace Prevail On Earth.” The message has been translated into English, German, Spanish, and Chinese for the Springfield community. It is my hope that through the reflective qualities of this piece that all those who encounter it may find their role in the mission for peace.
Suzanne is a senior in the MSU Sculpture Program.
