Angelica is a Pterophyllum, also known as the angelfish. Angelfish are one of the most popular aquarium fish who are known for their graceful swimming. The thought of creating an angelfish sculpture began the day I found the rock that is now the head of Angelica. As you can see, the body consists of a variety of materials such as gears, hubcaps, and garage door springs. It was like putting a puzzle together while creating this sculpture as I looked for “just the right piece” to fit perfectly.
