The cupcake has made a comeback. They are delicious, decadent, and stuffed filled with childhood nostalgia. They bring to life the nursery rhyme describing what girls are made of: sugar and spice and all things nice! They have made a comeback in pop culture and in feminism as a nod back to the 1950s housewife, baking away, and creating perfect little sweets for their children.

But it’s 2020, and we’re not going back, so if cupcakes are going to be a symbol of feminism, it’s gotta be the biggest, lumpiest, beautifully imperfect cupcake there is!
