Location: Northwest corner of the Historic Downtown Square
I was inspired by other interactive sculptures such as Maestro by Lee Leuning & Sherri Treeby, as well as the concept of mad scientist inventions. Art that promotes the more light-hearted aspects of life inspire me the most, as art to me is a way to distract from so much of the world’s chaos. Two of the artists that have inspired me the most are Deidre Argyle and Kevin Hughes. I started by developing ideas on paper. Once I had the concept I enjoyed, I started to more thoroughly develop it.
