Stainless Steel & Cast Acrylic

Location: Northwest corner of South Ave. & Walnut St.

In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the moon. She is often described as having the power to control time, and like the moon itself, she is ever-changing. The purple colored crescent moon cast its shadow throughout the day, and the stainless steel form reflects the natural moon light at night. This sculpture creates an ever-changing experience for the viewer, offering a new perspective with ever changing hour of time.
