The inspiration for Monumental was simply the perfect piece of steel that was found in the scrapyard. Our sculptures are created in several ways. We sometimes just come up with a cool idea, other times we see objects that we immediately know will be a part of a sculpture…eventually. At times, scrap pieces from another sculpture creation becomes its own sculpture. For memorials we have created, we have been inspired by the family and their story or even an actual drawing of what they would like to have made into a sculpture.
