For this piece I felt it was important to honor a theme I’ve been interested in for years, the “guardian angel.” I worked to make the piece large and visually engaging to bring people closer to the concept of standing in as a guardian angel for others. Viewers are encouraged to dwell on the idea as they stand in front of the wings for poses or photos.
